What Topics Are Covered in the PMP® Training?

The current PMP® exam is based on three domains: People (42%), Process (50%), and Business Environment (8%), drawn from the PMBOK® Guide (7th Edition) and the Agile Practice Guide. EPMA training maps directly to these domains, with dedicated sessions on predictive, agile, and hybrid approaches. The exam content outline is followed exactly — no outdated content.

The PMP exam format, domain weighting, question types, and PMI mindset. How to read scenario questions. What “PMI way” means and why it matters. This module reduces exam anxiety and builds strategic test-taking skills.
Leading project teams: leadership styles, team motivation, conflict resolution, stakeholder engagement, and building high-performance teams. The largest domain by weight — most candidates underestimate it.
Project lifecycle in predictive environments: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, closure. Scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, procurement, and communication management aligned to PMBOK 7th Edition.
Organizational strategy, benefits realization, compliance, project governance, and the project manager’s role in delivering business value. Smaller domain by weight — but high-yield questions in the exam.
Question pattern analysis, time management strategy, and common failure points. Two dedicated mock exam review sessions with Sateesh. Readiness assessment before exam booking.

Frequently Asked Questions About PMP® Certification

Answers to the most common questions professionals ask before enrolling for PMP® training.

PMP® (Project Management Professional) is the world's leading project management certification, awarded by PMI (Project Management Institute). It is held by over one million professionals in 214 countries and is recognized by employers globally. The exam is based on the PMBOK® Guide and the PMI Examination Content Outline, covering predictive, agile, and hybrid project approaches.
PMI requires either: (a) a four-year degree, 36 months of project leadership experience, and 35 contact hours of PM education; or (b) a secondary degree (diploma/associate's degree), 60 months of project leadership experience, and 35 contact hours. EPMA's 35-contact-hour training satisfies the education requirement for both paths.
Most EPMA candidates prepare and sit the PMP® exam within 6–8 weeks of completing training. This follows EPMA's structured 45-day study plan: topic-wise question practice, mock exams, readiness assessment, and then exam booking. Working professionals with limited study time can extend this to 10–12 weeks without loss of momentum.
PMI requires 35 contact hours of project management education to sit the PMP® exam. EPMA's training programme provides exactly 35 PMI-recognized contact hours. Upon completion, you receive a certificate of completion that satisfies this requirement for your PMI exam application.
The PMP® exam consists of 180 questions (including 5 unscored pretest items). Questions include multiple choice, multiple response, matching, hotspot, and drag-and-drop formats. The exam is 230 minutes with two scheduled 10-minute breaks. Approximately 50% of questions are agile or hybrid approach. EPMA training is fully aligned to the 2024–2025 exam content outline.
Yes. All EPMA training is delivered live online, with sessions scheduled for US time zones. Full replay recordings are provided for every session. The PMP® exam is proctored online — you can sit it from home or at a Pearson VUE test centre. We have candidates across California, Texas, New York, and across the US.
