Review: I am delighted to share that I have earned the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute on my first attempt, scoring "Above Target" in all three domains: People, Process, and Business Environment. This achievement reflects my dedication to continuous growth and mastery of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. My journey began with training for 35 PDUs, filing the application, and taking multiple mock exams. Special thanks to the Effective Project Management Academy and mentors Vaijayantee Kamat for their invaluable support. After completing the required 35 PDUs in April 2022, my preparations were put on hold due to a year-long project in the UK. Upon returning, I resumed my studies in January 2024 and, despite struggling with accuracy, significantly improved after attending the PMP Action Camp from May 20 to May 31. Review: Dear All, You will be glad to know that I passed the PMP exam with "Above Target" performance rating in my first attempt. As someone rightly said "It's not about the destination, it's about the journey" I started my PMP journey with the EPMA team and with my PMP Guru Viajayantee mam. All the training sessions by mam are neately designed and easy to understand. The EPMA study book provided by mam is an excellent extract of PMBOK and Agile Practice Guide. That being said, this book also has cross reference links to PMBOK / APG topics in case you want to study a particular topic in detail. After preparation when I felt confident enough, I appeared for EPMA Mock Tests. Vaijayantee mam personally evaluated performance for my first two mock tests and identified the gaps in my knowledge. This approach immensely helped me in concentrating on my weaker area and eventually my performance in the remaining three mock tests was improved. Even after completing mock tests, the EPMA team and mam were always available to solve my queries. I will definitely recommend EPMA if you want success in the PMP exam in your first attempt. Review: Thank you so much Vaijayantee Ma'am and the institute. Mocks( even look and feel and timer of PMP® exam page is same as our mock tests, my exam was much similar to mock2 and mock4) While I was giving the exam and lacking time, I was recalling the analysis that Ma'am had shared on Time management for first 60 questions, and the rest 120 questions. Answers in mail from Ma'am saying, "If you were in this situation, what you would have done, would you go stakeholder or analyse first" and then I marked the answers. If I was overspending time on one question, I marked it for review and went to next. As I remember Ma'am saying, "Uma! don't over-analyze!" You definitely need a mentor like EPMA.

Review: Enrolling for the (PMP® exam with EPMA was a wise decision for me. Even though I had professional experience with project management, Vaijayantee ma'am gave excellent guidance in providing the needed direction for passing the exam. Also, I am grateful for all the help given by the EPMA team in signing up for the exam, filling up the application form, and supporting me through the mock tests. I would like to give the following tips for future batches: 1. Read the EPMA course material thoroughly and read the same material on the PMBOK too and follow the table of contents given at the beginning of each chapter. Strictly follow the EPMA methodology. 2. Attempt the Question Bank multiple times and read all the answers thoroughly. 3. Give all the 5 mock tests, and study all the answers whether they are right or wrong. Keep a tracker of your mock test score and ensure that the score keeps improving in each subsequent test. 4. Take an analysis from Vaijayantee ma'am and set the exam date only after ma'am gives the green signal to go ahead. 5. Lastly, don't stress yourselves too much, because if you follow the EPMA methodology, you are sure to pass the exam.
